The Global Accessibility Awareness Day is an event that takes place every year all around the world and aims at raising awareness about the importance of digital accessibility for a more inclusive society.  For the second year, the TransMedia Catalonia (TMC) research group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona celebrated the Global Accessibility Awareness Day hosting a TMC Open Day, May 16th.

Visitors had the chance to meet TMC researchers and discuss with them the key aspects and social implications of digital and media accessibility.

One of the aims of the open day was to disseminate results of currently ongoing research projects at TMC. In this framework, the UAB researchers involved in the REBUILD project presented the main objectives of the H2020 project as well as the methodological steps which have already started to be taken to achieve such aims.
