MIICT, REBUILD, NADINE, MICADO, WELCOME and EasyRights are Horizon 2020-co-funded initiatives under the call H2020-SC6-DT-MIGRATION-06-2018-2019. The six projects work towards the development of ICT-enabled solutions and toolkits for the implementation of inclusion policies by public administrations. As efficient and effective migrants’ integration can only be achieved by clearly understanding the migrants' personal and family situation, but also by involving all key actors, such as researchers, public authorities, civil society organizations and migrants, the six projects apply a participatory co-creation approach in the design and provision of tools and services. In this context, the 6 initiatives, together with their responsible project officers from the Research Executive Academy have as priority to work together, both in local and European level, to tackle key pillars in common.
Till now, the six sister projects, have implemented various actions together, such as:
Furthermore, on 16th of July, the H2020 sister projects that are active in the area of the Metropolitan City of Bologna organized an on-line Joint Meeting: the Italian referees of MIICT, MICADO and REBUILD projects met in order to share the state of the art of their activities, map the implementation stage for each project and weigh the affection of the pandemic in each projects’ implementation process. They also discussed the organization of further possible joint activities, as follows:
- September/October 2021: schedule a new meeting including the other Italian project, EasyRights;
- Address the issue of sustainability, maybe at the Joint Rountdtable involving all the H2020 Migration Projects;
- Update on the possibility of organizing a Joint Event involving sister projects implemented in the Metropolitan City of Bologna.
